Who we are
Cross Sales Group LLC("MeetVIA", "we", "us") is a financial-technology company registered in Tbilisi, Georgia, that operates a digital platform enabling cross-border trade settlement and FX-transparent escrow across the Georgia–Türkiye–EU corridor. We act as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our platform.
We operate under a payment institution license issued by the National Bank of Georgia and comply with applicable EU data-protection rules when processing the personal data of EU residents.
02
Data we collect
Identity and KYB / KYC
To onboard your business and satisfy anti-money-laundering obligations we collect: company registration documents and UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) details, government-issued identity documents for directors and authorised users, tax identification numbers, and bank account details.
Transaction data
Each time you agree a trade term, fund an escrow, or release settlement we record: the parties to the trade, invoice and goods descriptions, agreed amounts and currencies (GEL, TRY, EUR, USD), FX rates applied, timestamps for each escrow milestone, and the settlement account to which funds are disbursed.
Platform usage data
We automatically collect IP addresses, device and browser identifiers, session logs, and pages visited — solely to operate the service securely and diagnose issues.
Communications
If you contact our support team, we retain a record of that correspondence.

Legal bases (GDPR)
For EU-resident individuals whose data we process, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Contract performance — to provide the escrow and settlement service you have signed up for.
- Legal obligation — to comply with AML, sanctions, and financial-services regulations in Georgia, Türkiye, and the EU.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the platform, prevent fraud, and improve our service, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing communications; you may withdraw this at any time.

International transfers
Corridor note
Where personal data of EU residents is transferred to Georgia or Türkiye, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, supplemented by technical and organisational measures appropriate to each jurisdiction.
Transfers to other countries — for instance, when a sub-processor is US-based — are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, SCCs, or equivalent safeguards. We will tell you which safeguard applies on request.
07
Retention
We keep your data for as long as the law requires us to. The main periods are:
| Data type | Minimum retention | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| AML / KYC records | 5 years after relationship ends | Georgian AML Act; EU AMLD |
| Financial transaction records | 7 years | Tax law (Georgia, Türkiye, EU) |
| Platform usage logs | 13 months | Security; then anonymised |
| Support correspondence | 3 years | Legitimate interests (disputes) |
After these periods expire, we securely delete or anonymise your data.
08
Your rights
If you are an EU resident, you have the right to: access a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion (subject to regulatory retention obligations); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Because most transaction data is held to fulfil legal obligations, we may be unable to delete it until the relevant retention period expires — we will explain this clearly if you make a deletion request.
To exercise any right, email support@meetvia.app. We respond within 30 days.
